Leadership Development Coach

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strong understanding and alignment with the vision and values of GBO and how they influence our business operations and every day interactions.
  • Understands our internal talent, and leads the identification and execution of individual leadership development solutions for Providers.
  • Increases organizational effectiveness by implementing leadership development programs and strategies focused on developing Providers.
  • Successfully integrate new Providers into the GBO culture and values.
  • Coach and mentor Providers, leaders, and employees for improved business performance and engagement.
  • Responsible for creating development strategies for Providers and employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Effectively facilitate organizational change in alignment with the vision, values and strategic business initiatives of GBO.
  • Work cross functionally to build teams and pull people together.
  • Successfully models, teaches, coaches, and consults others around organizational development processes and strategies.
  • Open about own growth and development needs. Acts in a reliable and responsible manner, recognizing personal strengths, improvement areas and limitations.
  • Consistently demonstrates the ability to challenge the status quo in a positive and constructive manner using concepts of continuous improvement and change management.
  • Provide 1-on-1 coaching and development initiatives at all levels of the organization.
  • Assist leaders and individuals with setting expectations, coaching for success and creating development plans.
  • Possesses a broad understanding of our overall business.
  • Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Two years previous experience in an organizational development role;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development or related field preferred;
  • Proven ability to identify and initiate development strategies for individuals and teams.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong facilitation and communication skills with the ability to guide others toward professional growth and development;
  • Demonstrated ability to identify development needs;
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills; takes relational risk by being open and honest.
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to personal goals, objectives and work ethic.
  • Works cross functionally; connects and relates with all people, at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influence skills; active listening skills
  • Ability to be adaptable to the situation, person and environment.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Occasionally lift up 10 lbs.
  • Rarely move a maximum of 50 lbs.  Rarely push/pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Frequently stand; use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms
  • Requires close visual acuity, and ability to speak and hear are required.
  • Occasionally sit, stoop, kneel and crouch
  • Sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Work is generally performed in an office setting
  • Evening and/or weekend work; extended hours and irregular shifts may be required
  • High level of mental concentration is required.
