Kayla hails from Manitowoc, Wisconsin, and was introduced to health care when her father was diagnosed with colon cancer. She was only in middle school, enduring her father’s many hospital stays, appointments, chemotherapy treatments and surgeries, but this early experience showed her just how positive an impact a medical team can make. This lasting impression inspired Kayla to do the same for others, completing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Bellin College in Green Bay, and a Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh.
Kayla’s bright attitude leads her to focus on life’s positives. She loves music and attending concerts, having grown up singing in choir and playing the trumpet. Kayla and her family also enjoy traveling, and especially appreciate the time they’ve been able to spend in Aruba.
“People need to be respected for who they are, and getting to know you and your family will help me give you the care you need—your way.”
