Darcy was born in Escanaba, Michigan and attended nursing school in the Upper Peninsula. She earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees in Nursing from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, graduating magna cum laude. Later she completed her doctorate of nursing practice at the University of Michigan-Flint.
There are many things she appreciates about her tight-knit community but she especially enjoys the privilege of providing care to people in her home town.
Darcy loves spending time outdoors and the variety of activities available in her backyard only adds to what makes the area so special.
She keeps busy as a mother of triplets and enjoys spending time with them hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing and at the pool.
