Clinical Trials Available At Green Bay Oncology

The region’s longest National Cancer Institute partner

Green Bay Oncology’s oncologists, hematologists, and radiation oncologists have earned a sought-after partnership with the National Cancer Institute. We lead the region in providing access to new cancer treatments and improved outcomes.

Along with the HSHS St. Vincent Hospital Cancer Centers, Green Bay Oncology is the region’s longest participant in the NCI’s Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP). We bring national NCI clinical trials right to the communities we serve, so that our patients don’t need to travel to another part of the state, or another part of the country, for leading-edge expertise. Clinical trials identify new ways to detect, diagnose and treat cancer. The list of NCI trials is extremely extensive, with several thousand studies always in progress. Each month our clinical trials team evaluates all new trials to best match the needs of our current patients, as well as to advance the research and progress of the most promising new treatments.

More clinical trials than anywhere in Northeast Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula

The nation’s best cancer-fighting doctors demand access to the latest research and treatment techniques. We are active participants in many clinical trials at any given time, and at times seek out new options for individual patients in our care.

Don’t be misled by other cancer programs that promise clinical trials and then must work through outside sources to obtain access for their patients. The only direct access in the region is here at Green Bay Oncology.

Tomorrow’s best cancer-fighting techniques are being tested right here, today
