For Melissa Bader, FNP-BC, oncology care is about guiding patients and their families through complex and often overwhelming experiences with clarity, compassion and support. Melissa was inspired to pursue this field during her undergraduate clinical rotations, where she cared for oncology patients and felt a deep calling to help others through some of life’s most difficult moments. She is also an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), which reflects her dedication to excellence in cancer care.
Melissa and her husband have two children. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, visiting craft breweries, and traveling — especially when it involves a good adventure or discovering a new place to explore. She also loves spending time outdoors, experiencing all four seasons that northeast Wisconsin has to offer.
A lifelong learner who believes in balancing purpose with joy, Melissa lives by the motto, “Always remember to fall asleep with a dream and wake up with a purpose.” She brings that same perspective to her patients, helping them find hope, direction and comfort in the midst of uncertainty.
