Responsible for maintaining all medical records for patients of the clinic. While working with the Electronic Health Records (EHRs) system, this person creates and retrieves electronic patient folders/records, reconciles and resolves medical record discrepancies, accesses electronic files, updates electronic records/documents, prepares medical records for scanning and indexing. Responsible for making sure all medical records are up to date and verify that all information is accurate as well as manage the release of medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
